Spanda goes in to sleep mode if no activities for 5 minutes or as per the setting. This enables Spanda to conserve the battery. For extending the battery life, this setting can be reduced.
Ensure that you have Spanda App running on your cellphone and it is paired to the Spanda stethoscope. The cell phone which is paired with Spanda should be paired with headset or the external speaker that you want to use with Spanda. On the Spanda App, in Home page, there is a headset icon. Auscultation frequencies are very low, mainly in the range of 20 hz to 1200 hz. Thus you need speaker or headset with very good quality audio for low frequencies stretching right up to 20 hz. This is generally available in high end headset or speakers from reputed brands. It can be enhanced with extra Bass setting if that option is available.
This is because if you are too close to auscultation point, the speaker sound can get re-routed back into the stethoscope. Thus, your speaker needs to be few meters away to ensure that sound doesn’t echo.
